Watercolor Cards

thank you cards

I have some new card designs using only watercolor and ink!   The only problem is that I made the mistake of making them on cheap card stock and the watercolor bled through a little on the other side.  So, next time I make these, I'm going for the good quality paper- the thick stuff.

  1. Do you have to use watercolor paper when you make cards that you use watercolor paint on? Or do you buy blank cards and paint on those? Like a thick cardstock card?

    1. I used some plain old cardstock for these, but I kept the water content low so that it didn't soak through too much. So ya, you can make do with cardstock if you don't want to spring for the more expensive watercolor paper. Thanks for visiting Amy!
