Taking a Break

Hey friends.... just want to let you know I'm taking the next week off blogging.  I really really need it.

I'll be honest here.  I'm struggling.  I've had a migraine nearly everyday for 2 weeks straight and I don't think I can handle much more.  So I'm having a moment.  A very trying moment.  It's taking every bit of faith I have to keep going and have hope for the future.  Things seemed to be going so well with getting off my meds, but this week has been especially painful and it makes me wonder if I ever will get better.  It's so discouraging.  Maybe I need more time to adjust... who knows? In the mean time, I'm going to take a break from the computer.  Maybe that will help.  We'll see.

Anyway, I don't want to be depressing here.  Just want to let you know what's going with me and thank you for all your kind comments here so far.  You have lifted me more than you know.

  2. I do hope you get to feeling better. I have just discovered your blog and love your tutorials. I know they take a lot of effort to put together, not just a simple create it and take a pic but tons of planning.
I am recovering from my 2nd heartattack and am now taking stacks of meds and some that have made me feel as bad as the heart condition. I really feel for you. It is so hard to know what to do about meds ~ take or don't take ~ Sometimes I think you have to pray and use your own judgement. One of mine I took for 4 months and then the dr up'd the dosage and it made me so dizzy I nearly landed in the floor til I could figure out which med was doing it ~ and that is not the only one I have had problems with. It is soooo hard to deal with. You are and will be in my prayers. Take care and please just drop a line on your blog just to let us know how you are doing.

  12. Go for it. Hope it helps. Who knows--maybe it's the computer that's the culprit! (I know it gets me right between the shoulders, to say nothing of the squinting.) There's so much research on migraines, surely someone will have a cure that suits you. Good luck. Hugs and prayers. You know where to find us when you get back in the saddle. We'll all be here.
