A Look at my Sketchbook

 Playing with blog header designs.........

Which is your favorite?  I really like the colorful dots.  I may scan it and incorporate it into a heading sometime.  I also like the feathers, but the handwriting with them.... not so much.

I also have a few pen drawings from a few months ago...

By the way, if any of you happen to see an offensive video game ad displayed in my sidebar,  I sincerely apologize.  I've reported it to Blogher and they are working on getting it blocked.  I've come across it a few times and it's awful.  So really, I'm sorry about that.  I opt out of the "nasty" ad categories as much as possible, but sometimes I can't control all of them.  Does anyone else have that problem?

I'm considering switching to running my own ads with Passionfruit Ads.  That way I can have total control over what is on my blog and only have ads that I agree with.

  1. So jealous. I try to paint and draw, and all that happens is major frustration. :)

  2. I like the polka dots too! Thanks for sharing! :) I know what you mean about that yucky ad. I saw it for the first time on mine today. I'm using AdSense, so I quickly went to block it. I could not block it specifically yet, had to request a list (blah-blah-blah). Anyway, I just clicked to block internet ads and one other one that I thought the 'game' my be categorized under. It's gone for now.

  3. I vote for the dots too. They're all cute though. Good luck figuring out the add stuff!

  4. I like the one with the geraniums and the block letters. I keep the font size large on my screen and I usually don't even see the ugly stuff. I do so hate it when that kind of thing happens. It's the way of the world, tho.
