Painted Leaves- Tribal Design

Tribal Designs on Dried Leaves: Grow Creative

I'm at it again............. painting leaves is a favorite fall past time.
I picked and dried these weeks ago with my son, then I broke out the acrylic craft paints and invented my own tribal/aztec designs in blues, pinks, and reds.

Painted Leaves- Tribal Designs: Grow Creative

Now that the leaves are all painted I have to figure out what to do with them.... a garland perhaps?  I know I'll come up with something :)

What would you use these for?

  2. I was wondering what you were going to do with leaves! A garland for sure! Or making leaf crowns or leis and passing them out at a Thanksgiving fest might would add a festive touch. A few clustered together with some floral tape would make very cool corsages. How fab would a mask look covered with these...!
I'm going to have to get some acrylic paints!

  3. These are fantastic. I have a yard full of leaves. I would just scatter them on a tabletop or in a tray. Why mess with a good thing!

    1. I ended up laminating my leaves. I think they'll last many years that way!
