Transformation of a Clock + A Redo of a Redo

Clock makeover: growcreative

I picked up this little clock at the thrift store- a risk to buy something mechanical at a thrift store I know, but I just knew I could paint it and make it cute.

I'm an on-time type of person, so I like lots of clocks in my house.  Shopping online there was a complete lack of clocks with character in my price range.  Way to many bbc's out there!(boring brown clocks).  Light green is so much better!

And then I had this little number that I made over for my first house- which didn't match my second house.  Enter some light aqua paint- perfect!

  1. I have an almost identical (to the before) clock. My husband bought it for me shortly after we started dating because he hated that there was no clock in my living room. I can't bring myself to get rid of it but really don't like it so it has spent years tucked away in the basement. I'd never thought to redo it. Thanks for the idea!

I love that the clock frame is made from WOOD and not nasty plastic.
    Score!
